Maïté Verloigne is an associate professor in health promotion at Ghent University, within the Department of Public Health and Primary Care. She has experience and expertise in developing, implementing, and evaluating health promotion interventions, including those targeting sleep, physical activity, sedentary behaviour, nicotine use, or alcohol consumption. Her work is grounded in a systematic and participatory approach, ensuring that interventions are evidence-based and developed in close collaboration with target groups and other partners. She currently leads and contributes to several research projects aimed at improving health behaviours across diverse populations.
